New Sansa fuze

Post by ricemark20 » Sat Oct 23, 2010 5:52 am

I finally got a Sansa Fuze, which is a great player so far. The only issue I have is that the latest TLLTS ogg feed is garbled on the player, but not the computer. The mp3 feed sounds great, but one reason I wanted this player was to support the ogg format. Does anyone else have this issue?

On a good note, I found a .deb to transfer all media to the Fuze:

This is the post where I found it:

Did you get the Fuze or the Fuze+? I have last year's model of the Fuze and the show played fine. Video4Fuze is great, it's one of my must-have programs.

Let us know if other ogg shows play fine and our's does not. We had similar issues way back in the day with devices only supporting specific bit rates for ogg files.

Well, I updated the firmware and that worked. It also plays great in my rockbox install on the player.

I got the Fuze. I didn't really like the look of the Fuze+

I just sent for an 8G Sansa Fuze after bricking my Cowon S9. I'm hoping Cowon will switch it out as it's still under warranty.
Figure the Fuze to be my best bet atm for a second player as nearly everyone raves about them. I too didn't care much for the look of the new fuze+
and the reviews have been less than stellar, including Gorkon's.

I found this: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/sh ... stcount=27
Hope it helps un-brick the player.

ricemark20...appreciate the link.....but it's deader than doornail...won't even mount. Cowon is taking it back as it bricked during a
firmware update and is only a few months old...so not that bad:)
