I note with the new release of Zenwalk that they have accepted your recommendation and added OOo 3.0.1.

Great show guys, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the vim cheat sheet. Did you guys purposely disable the comment system on your blog? I wanted to let you know that Greg's volume was really low... or am I going deaf!?

Just updated the feed. Sorry for the delay, have been crazy busy - I have been managing the operation here, while my wife prepared for her business trip. She is on a plane to the states now.
I can give you an FTP account on my server, but I always adjust the tags before I upload, and I would still have to update the feed...

Yeah my cheap mic has always been very quiet - weak signal, I guess.
Now I could record on the MacBook, but it has some weird quirks, that built-in mic.
Tell ya what I'll do:
I'll record ep23 on the MacBook mic, edit the show, release it and you tell me which is better, OK?

i haven't heard the show yet, so i don't know how the levels are in this one. but, have you guys ever tried running the show through a "levelator"? not that i know much about it. but, its supposed to even out the highs and lows. (from what i can tell, in a guitar pedal it would be a compressor/limiter.)
if the mics continue to be troublesome, you could give a levelator a shot.
(you could always shoot LO dan an email too. he is the audio man.

)

There is a Linux Reality episode, where Chess goes over what he does to straighten out the sound before publishing. He did something along those lines.

I hope I've got the right episode... Gregor, you said something that I thought was really funny - "Let's have a minute's silence for the colour that was brown." Keep up the comedy act!

Thank you phayz
Peter sometimes surprises me with his brutal irony, you should listen to some of the earlier episodes
