Because I am lazy
Is there a way to pull all of the shows via the RSS feed going back all the way to the first show or am I relegated to only the 10ish most current and downloading the individual shows prior to that?
Re: Because I am lazy
You can only pull what is in the feed. That is kind of what a feed is for.
If you're nice you can talk Dann into making a lazy feed that goes back to the beginning of time.
You can hit my mirror at http://www.jeffratliff.org/mirror/ to download shows 90 to 159. All the mp3s are in /mirror/TLLTS/mp3/, but only the latest are in the html for the page because I'm lazy.
After show 159 Linc came up with the automated mirror script so I stopped updating the page.

Re: Because I am lazy
That helps, thanks.
I have pulled a few different feeds that had an alternate feed for ALL the shows hence the question.

There's kind of a religious war as to whether all shows should be in a feed or just the past 5 or 10.
When feeds were just to syndicate blogs, almost all feeds just had the last few posts.
Once podcasts came along this changed a bit, then came iTunes. iTunes has encouraged people to be lazy and include all shows in a feed since iTunes only downloads the last few. That's fine as long as everyone uses iTunes.
Those of us who are more old-school believe the feed should take care of things, not the podcatcher. The biggest benefit is it saves bandwidth as people can't "accidentally" download 200 shows.
