It seems we may be striking a sponsorship deal with one of our favorite Linux Mags. They would like us to send them a banner for them to put on their website at 336x90. Since I am not an artist, I thought it would be cool to see what you all can come up with. Help out the TechShow with your Mad Skilz!
Post them here so we can all see! And Hurry! Time's a wastin'!

Well here are two of my attempts. Basic like snkmchnb's

It is a bit two ninety's for my liking but it's a start.
And here is my second attempt

This one is a bit to basic as well but I want to improve on it a bit.
Instead of having one image what about linking the image and then using a script to rotate the images? That could be kind of cool (but bandwidth might be an issue there)
Also do you think it should be "Linux goodness" or "Techshow goodness" ? (lol - Gnu/Linux goodness)
Well I'll keep trying (gimping is more fun than final exams anyway!)

Good entries. Keep them coming. Remember this will be on the LJ website which gets like 1 million hits a month.

Gomer's has a certain The Cheat flavor I like.

Here's a quicky attempt at it... Kinda simple and maybe a tiny bit too streetwise..

Oh, and I thought I'd touch up on that previous banner.

Another take. This time a little bit cleaner and more modern. Adjusted the tagline and revised the stamp.
Looks like the top horizontal banner on the LJ site is something like 750x90. Were there some definite size requirements they provided?
