Mouse Click Counter

Post by dann » Tue Oct 02, 2007 1:00 pm

I know kde has the mouse pedometer, but anyone know if there is an applet of something that will keep track of how many mouse clicks you do?

My brief search turned up nothing.

That would definitely be very cool. I would really like to see a histogram of mouse clicks throughout my work day. When I'm doing actual work, It's just the keyboard that works hard. When I'm goofing off, I'm clicking around in the browser or my email client. :-)

I can see this being really useful for usability tests, like how long it takes someone to do something and how to shorten it..

I found quite a few for windows, none really work proberly under wine , i would not think its too hard to code oneself, i am sure there is a method/function call for this in X.org , its just the effort in finding it :P
