Not a rosy picture painted for Palm:

Bit of a shame because WebOS seems to be a pretty nice phone OS. So can we all agree Android is the best hope for Linux on the smart phone?

i just heard an argument on CNBC. yea, PALM seems to be going down in flames. but, with google pulling out of China, could someone like Motorola scoop up PALM on the cheap to have a OS they can use in China.

...not that i can figure out how to make a trade on it.

Palm is a major take over candidate right now. I bet they have a top of patents related to PDAs, touchscreens and interfaces. Hello Google, hello HTC!!!
