I think you need to go to Brazil where Linux adoption is much more widespread. I'm sure there are some hot female Penguinistas down there. At the last OLF there seemed to me more women in general. Not a ton but enough where it was noticeable. Personally I don't care since I'm already married (my wife is a former AS400 admin). I'm very lucky to be married to a fellow geek.

You're right. I noticed it too. Over the last 3 years the number of women at OLF has at least doubled. Last year I saw a lot more women who were obviously not there with a boyfriend or husband, too.
My wife uses Linux, but she thinks Fedora is Windows. She only recognizes Debian with fvwm as Linux.

Very true! You know, they are actually the exact opposite of each other, because the BSOD is a symbol of a cruddy and unstable OS, while BSD is know for reliability and stability, among other things of course.
