I was out in the middle of nowheres-ville, Chester County, South Carolina. A bit after midnight a chorus of cats began howling out in the fields. Their song carried from the east end of the property and moved it's way slowly to the south end. Quite freaky! Then there was gun fire around 1:00 a.m. (off in the distance; and no I don't think they were shooting at the cats; it was way off), which was odd.
