Bittorent client with web-based interface

Post by coolfrood » Fri Dec 15, 2006 8:41 pm

Hi,

Does anyone know of a bittorrent client that I can use that has a web-based interface. I want to use it on my myth box which is headless, other than the TV. It would be great if I can easily schedule downloads for torrent-based videos. RSS support would be great, but I can live without that.

It is not web based, but it is completely CLI based, which makes it a great one to use with a headless box.

I feel it gets better download rates than any other client. I use it so it does take up lots of overhead with a graphical interface, but I have also used it remotely since you can control it completely over ssh.

This one is web based and supports RSS.

I've used it. It works well and since its for your mythbox you most likely already have mysql and apache installed.

I tried out Torrentflux. This does everything that I want and is very easy to setup with an existing myth installation because Apache, PHP, and MySQL are already there. Thank you!

I am running torrentflux on my box too .. and so far I have got nothing but praises for it ( Can't really comment about it's security ... not a security person ). It's in a nutshell azureus on the web.
