Beryl going WILD

So you have seen Beryl Videos and I have seen Berryl but this is extreme. This really captures ur imagination. STill nothing useful so far but is trully eye stuffed with shuggar :D

I think that the spinning cube helps some people realize what virtual desktops are and how they are used. The window switching also gives more visual feedback which makes it more appealing to the eye and could help you be more productive. But yes, some things actually make things worse and more confusing such as in that video, you get lost and can't tell what is going on. The wobbly windows and such is a silly little extra that IMHO is just a good test of what it is capable of, I don't think it should be in a working environment.

I am sure the KDE 4 team will figure out the best way to use these new capabilities.

I never really even used virtual desktops before I had XGL/AIGLX

I hear alot of people say it's all eyecandy and they would never even use it. I do find alot of it usefull and I enjoy using my computer alot more.

*sigh* if only I had time to spend and learn how to set up all those neat effects. My wm looks like emacs maximized.
