I guess that means you don't like the new intro?

Hey Pat,
that's right - I really liked the old one. I guess no-one likes change?
I don't think it sounds half as interesting / professional - I dunno, it just doesn't have that spark about it.

I agree. The new intro is weak. This guy on the new intro sounds like some douchebag you'd hear on a cheesy beer commercial from the 1970's. The background music is also really lame...

You guys are more than welcome to send us a new intro. If it's better we'll use it.

I'm tempted - what with the stinkin' cold I have right now, I really do sound like voiceover man

My intro would probably be worse than Linc's original intro. I say just keep the old one. Or make something really funny that fits the Tech Show's style.

We can't keep the old one. The creator asked us to stop using it. So until we come up with a better one the current new intro will have to suffice.

That's weird. Did he give you a reason? I guess it's just as well, since it's the 4th year for the Tech Show, and you want something new. What makes the new intro sound kinda akward to me, is that he's reading the same lines as the previous guy, and he doesn't really have the same level of excitement in his voice.

I like it, not as much as the old one though. The main problem with it is its a little long at 50 seconds. The old intro was only 37 secs.

Well, the guy I had do it is an announcer for Fox.

Ah, so that explains it!
Seriously though, if you guys like it, keep it. It's your show.

What? He donates something to you then asks for it back?
Some people.
Anyway, I think the new intro is just fine. Oh, and thanks for playing my brother's music in the last episode. Great to hear it "on the air".

It wasn't like that. There were other issues invovled. He left the choice up to us so we respected his wishes. The guy is a professional and does a fantastic job. We thank him for the second/third year intro music.
I like the new intro, it's different. But I am not opposed to taking further submissions. The more diversity the merrier.

I like the new intro.
I think the previous intro is just as cheesy as the new one, we're just used to it so we don't notice.
