Yeah, cool, I'd love to see guitar and gear pics. That's all I've got there - a GUILD D-15M and a Telecaster from @ 1988 w/ a CRATE amp. I've also got an Alvarez Classical in a closet somewhere.

It's an old Peavey that was originally fretted and black. I did a major number on it: got rid of the paint and put a clear finish on it and then threw a Warmouth fretless neck on it.

I got rid of the Musicman Stingry last year on Ebay. You can see my Contreras classical guitar that I bought in Madrid back in 1985. I also have a 12 string Takamine acoustic that's not in the picture.

Here's our home office setup(s).

This is where my wife and I do most of our PC related work. This is our main PC and work area (my test box - the second monitor and keyboard - is in behind, out of sight). Forgive the conflicting perspectives... this photo is a combination of two. Click on it for a closer look.


This is where I've set up my web server (the little laptop on the bottom shelf), with external USB hard drive. Along with it is a second PC that is used when either my wife or I am busy on the main PC or if it happens to be a warm summer day and it's too hot to work upstairs.


And this is where my C64 has come to rest... still being used quite a bit, now that I've got it all set-up in a permanent home. Also, you'll see my small collection of Linux, HTML and PHP books... as well as a few Linux retail games I've bought over the last couple of years. Oh yeah, I belive that my "On the Edge" book is up in there, too. The PC is a PII that died recently... keeping it around for parts, because you never know what might come in handy.

From L to R:

bottom, far left: small, shuttle-esque (forget brand), this is my primary workstation
middle bottom: another small form factor 600mhtz via that is my webserver
middle top: dell 700m laptop on top of left desk
bottom far right: dell p4 workstation #2
far right, middle (barely visible): compaq evo SFF (myth box in progress)

And in the second one you see my main workstation , a 3.2ghz/1gbram, currently arch linux box. which is also a music server. You also see my main webserver (LAMP) (http://linc.homeunix.org:8080) which is a p2 400 running Slackware, my dns/dhcp/fileserver, which is a p233 running NetBSD, my mail/intranet/development webserver (LAMP) which is a Sun Sparc Ultra1 running Debian.
What you don't see in that pic is my Asterisk server AMD Duron 900mhz running asterisk@home, my intel mac mini (OS X) (nice little computer), my iMac Indigo g3 400, running Debian, my B&W G4 550 running OS X, my B&W G3 350 running Debian, my 1ghz pentium running Slackware in the bedroom (my wife's workstation), the G3 500 iMac Indigo running OS X that my daughter uses, the 4 laptops in the house (Slackware, Slackware, Arch, OS9), the Sparc Ultra2 (dual proc) server, the 2 HP 9000 D class servers with the 6 foot Jamaica enclosed rack, the other Sparc U1, 3 SS20's, a couple misc PC's and my few Decstations, Alphas and Vaxes I have kept because they were once running in polaces like NASA, NSA, and the Bethesda Naval Hospital (and some sentimental reasons).
Most of the rest of my stuff is gone now though

Oh, I forgot the 3 Commodore 128's the 5 c64's, the vic20, the plus4, the Tandy color computer (with the chicklet keys), the commodore 16, the Apple 2+ and the 5 apple IIe's. Also the 3 Apple 2c's and the 2c+(nice), and all their associated monitors, disk drives and peripherals (also a bunch of software).

That's all I have. I used to have a lot What can I say. I am a hardware whore. I have all the computing power now that I really wanted when I was like 12 and could never get then.

By the way, Judland and Chess, you have some beautiful setups. You two need to come to my place and help me attempt to organize! I need all the help I can get!

I'm going to assume that the CD spindles I see in photo 2 all have been burned with files on them already.

Amazing! I use the same method!
