At least take it to a good dealer. Jiffy Lube usually hires kids with no experience. A few years back I had one of their morons cross thread my drain plug. I had to go get an over sized drain plug and take care of it myself. And again once trying to be quick before a trip took my vehicle to Jiffy Lube and the idiot lost lost one of my air cleaner clips when I specifically told them the filter was new and didn't need to be checked. Plus, I used to notice they would add too much oil as well with that dial oil hose contraption. My two cents, :) .

I change my oil myself now on my truck and motorcycle, though I do have dealerships I trust.

The one I go to has a certified mechanic and most of the employees are taking professional automotive courses at the local college, I feel pretty safe in using them. Our family was either involved in auto racing or some other related endeavor. My cousins were pretty famous at it. Being italian, it is part of the lifestyle. So in our family, you were expected to be mechanically inclined,. We had to do our own oil changes, lube jobs, tune-ups, and general maintenance. You also saved quite a bit of money doing it yourself back then. I could do it if I had to, but I am happy to let someone else do it now.
