meh, pretty funny if you're bored like me. A good portrayal of the development process, no wonder things go live with the security holes and bugs so often.

Well, in this one case, I'll have to disagree with the microsoft basher. I'm tired of Joe Sixpack fucking up the entire world for me - believe it or not, I'm capable of choosing which shutdown option I want. If the person operating the computer isn't, then sux to be them. Maybe there should be a poweruser option to "unveil" these options and a dumbfuck option for people who still poke themselves in the eye with with straws at McDonalds, but seriously, how long are we as a global community going to cater to the lowest common denominator? If you are honestly too stupid/ignorant to shutdown a computer, then perhaps, just perhaps, you shouldn't be using one without adult supervision.

Then again, I think Fitt's Law is a bunch of bullshit, too, so maybe I'm not the best person to give an opinion on this subject.

Haha! I totally agree with this! And I do not agree joel's post on choice hurts either, I just thought the mentions from the developer about how things function was the more interesting part.

I only wish I could put these lowest common denominators where I work on tape. It's a surprise they believe they deserve a paycheck. Anyway I should stop now on that subject before I ramble on for hours!
