Hulu labs just realeased desktop support. Can't wait to install this on my Mythtv box.

Installed it on my laptop. It works and looks great. It should be pretty easy to integrate it into Myth. Add a button called Hulu. Button is pressed and the Hulu App opens up. Close it and control goes back to Myth. The only question is does the remote work with it. My guess is yes. We'll find out shortly. Now to get Adobe to open up flash and get it supported by VDPAU. This looks promising:

Hulu sounds great, but I would like to wait a bit before installing it to make sure there are no backdoor issues to have to worry about.

It's pretty easy putting a link in the MythTV for the Hulu player. Some people may need to explicit put the location of libflashplayer in the .huludesktop file in their home directory. I had do the following to get my remote working:

Loving it

I installed it on my Knoppmyth box. I installed it but had some flash dependency issues that I'm not sure I fully resolved. Hulu Linux Desktop installed fine but when I run some programs it is definitely jittery. I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this. It could be anything from internet feed, hardware, or just the software install itself. Any ideas?

I get the choppiness as well, but it appears to only be on HD content. I watched and SD Family Guy last night and didn't see the choppiness one time.

I am, however, still having the screen saver blank out the screen periodically. I have to look into this.

This is from the Hulu support website. I'm not sure it offers a whole lot of hope though.
