As it is, I'm already connected to 4 different networks in Xchat, so no big deal. I just set it up once, and things take care of itself from there on.
However, I am not a fan of Freenode. I've just not had many pleasant experiences there. Too much drama.

The site runs on Microsoft software on a half-dozen machines at a hosting facility a few miles away. From his bedroom, though, Mr. Frind can keep tabs on everything going on. When I was visiting last week, he showed me the site's monitoring program: 43,000 people were at PlentyOfFish at that moment...

I've never even heard of the guy before. Also, point out this minor thread, where the worst thing is "I don't believe him", is a bit shallow. To me personally, it seems a bit unbelievable, or atleast foolish, for running a single machine for that. But then again I like redundancy in case of somethin...

I'd prefer not to do that, since I run numerous terminal sessions (not counting ones dedicated for ssh, I have 4 going right now, and usually have another 3-4 for ssh access to various machines), and don't want to have to switch between then till I remembered which is the note one. On the desktop fr...

Note app
For a while now, I've gotten to like the ability to have frequently used apps running, but not visible when not in use, and not on the taskbar. For example, I love Yakuake . I hit a button, it slides out, and I have a large terminal right there, ready to go. What I want to know, is there a similar s...

And, also, I thought that Linux had mo...
