I got mine and installed Cyanogenmod7 on it and overall I am pretty happy with it. you are correct the viewing angle is horrible, its almost like having a privacy filter on it. so far it beats my wife ipad as most of my apps are free and flash is working. now i just need to get some streaming setup ...

I wonder how hackable they are ? if I could install a mythbuntu frontend on it then i would buy a dozen of them.

im using an hauppague 2250, i was using it over air for HD , but i am now using it for clear QAM ever since my cable company opened up their channels.

do i just need to go into the software repo and enable mythtv frontend , i did that and it loaded a lot of the dependencies. i rebooted launched mythtv and it seems to work, except when i go to watch a recording, it just sits at the "please wait" screen and never loads. is there anything else i need...

I almost went over the air and web last year. For cost savings the HD over the air can't be beat and you will still get a lot of sports.
