I upgraded my laptop last Sunday while watching football. I had no problem at all with the upgrade and did not do a clean install I tried the upgrade button on the updater. I have used the machine all week and no issues.

I'm with Pat on this one as well. The new logo kinda sucks. I don't want to see this logo on a splash screen anytime soon. When I think of Slackware, I think of an old, stable distro, not all artsy-fartsy. Either way I look forward to KDE4.1 in Slack.
