Re: Nastiest Windows malware yet: Ransomware
Most companies would back up their Data at least every night. However in Russia or China where thy rarely even use original software it might be a threat but I don't really mind since they don't give a shit in the first place.

Re: Wonderful experience with Privoxy
I use it to but only because I'm living in China. Unfortunately because of the nature of the system it renders so slow that most of the time it's useless.
Perhaps in less authorial systems it's more useful I hope

Re: Stallman - Can we rescue OLPC from Windows?
That's interesting, do you design hybrid vehicles? I wish I did! No, I'm only working on conventional automotive projects on the other hand I'm not working in the engine & chassis area more like Body(BIW) and Interior design which is not that much dependent on the engine technology (except in case ...

Re: Stallman - Can we rescue OLPC from Windows?
It depends on which country you're in (Where are you in fact from? ). Germany is generally the country I have heard the most from, however don't fool yourself and think that Microsoft is in any sort of danger of loosing any significant money (At their scale) over it. I'm moving back to Sw...

Re: Stallman - Can we rescue OLPC from Windows?
Ah, hell, I'm going to drop this one since I don't care either way and it appears that no one is really "hearing" what I'm saying in any case. I don't think there are very many people in china who are feeling the crushing price blow from their counterfeit MS products, though. I agree! I lived in Sh...

Installed KDE4.0 Last Night (after a six pack of Asahi beers) and it looks Great. I don't know if it was that second six pack of Beers but I just had to put that Big analog clock widget on my Desktop.

Re: Happy New Year!!!
They speak Mandarin and they have their own Shanghainese as well. I don't really like the Shanghai food (It's quite oily and lacks spices) that much but I do eat the free Chinese lunch at work which is barely eatable but I'm to lazy to bring my own every day. My workplace is 45 min bus ride (provide...

Re: Happy New Year!!!
Happy New Year from Shanghai! By the way it seems that TLLTS website is not banned anymore in China! I still can't reach any blogs without using TOR or Gladder which is a plugin for Firefox (Gladder = Ladder over the Great Firewall of China). Another site I can't download from is Sourcetrunk I have ...

I think we have he same problem over here software is free people don't even bother to buy the stripped ...
