The reason is that the 14 iso images contain some 13,000 packages. I recommend using the Debian net install disc. This only installs the Debian base system and it is only one disc that is a little more than 100 megs, I believe. Then, you can just apt-get everything else. http://www.debian.org/CD/net...

The only reason why I want to stay with mp3 is that I do not have enough money to buy a new player just yet.
