[Wsuug] Woopra: better or worse than Google Analytics

The approval process happened after the download. I downloaded the code,
installed it on my sites and let it go. A few days later I was "approved" to
actually start running the program and interacting with the reporting
functions.

I honestly have little to no experience with the pop-up addition mentioned
in that article. Like almost any analytics package I've used it's invisible
to the end user. So yeah, I'm guessing it's disabled by default as my client
hasn't mentioned any pop-ups and what not on their site.

Again, I haven't messed around with it too much, I was just commenting more
from an admiration of their metrics dashboard UI and the robust features of
their data collection. So as far as those two points go, yes...two thumbs
up. It's highly customizable and very easy to use without sacrificing data
density.

When I have more time to spend really running it through more comprehensive
testing, I'll update you guys on my impressions.
