Ditto on Meetup. If we want to promote this and get wider
attendance, there are lots of other, cheaper ways.

I was going to do something on Andy Clarke's argument that
we should design the UI from the content first, then work
our way "out". But if that isn't interesting, then someone
tell me something else to do. 

Also, just to warn you, I love Edward Tufte
(http://www.edwardtufte.com/tufte/powerpoint ), loathe
powerpoint. Upshot: my powerpoints are suckage without
plenty of advance warning. I will probably draw on a white
board out of years of habit.

I'd say let it go, we're not really big enough to need it
for management. And though it may give us some visibility
we're loaded with web developers, I'm sure we can manage an
alternative.
