For those of you who were present during my form design
presentation...I think it's noteworthy to mention that the new Happy
Cog-a-fied http://booksamillion.com does not allow you to access a
form to create an account. Once you purchase an item, that data is
used to create your account for you. While the argument can be made
that it might be preferable to allow people access to an account pre-
purchase, I think their solution is an elegant way of addressing the
question "What information do I (the site) need right now and what
can wait?" Also by combining two potential forms into one, It's a
clever way of minimizing a users administrative time, and hopefully
increasing their browsing/loyalty.
In conclusion, I love forms.
