[Wsuug] next meeting?

That's a nice thought but I don't see it going anywhere. I mean, we have
a standardized building code at the state level, but buildings within
the state are not standardized. Some are one floor and some are
multi-floor, some are single residence and some house multiple
residences, some are commercial and not residential - but the design
code covers all of them. So leave the rendering engines out of it I
think, that's where the market should have free rein - survival of the
fittest and all that jazz.

I want them to standardise the rendering engine as well, that;d
really help smooth out the process. I envision a collaborative project
to build and maintain the rendering engine. The browser companies can
remain competitive on browser features and add-ons.
What good is a standard format without a standard reader.

And why not? Those people who produce those
specifications go on and on and on about standards-compliance. Well,
standardize already, geez.

Integrate the two languages? Not a bad idea.
