I hope he has usability testing to back him up.. so far all I hear is
that his opinion based on his experience says a 3 column layout is
bunk..He needs to hold a usability study or perhaps and A/B test on a
similar site.. or maybe an eye tracking study to determine if his
conclusions are true.. and he kept comparing print to web.. I think
certain aspects are similar but the behavior of a newspaper reader and
a visitor on the web are completely different and should rarely be
compared. I could discuss this for days but Andy Rutledge needs to
back it up before I believe by into it completely.
