No idea about others, but it seems that JAWS 7.1 will recognize new content
or that content was hidden if done on page load, but anything done after
page load isn't noted. JAWS 8 seems to catch those changes and such changes
including "property changes, class name changes, innertext/innerHTML
changes." (
