I agree with almost everything Erin said...

The supplementary text was distracting... if more clarification was really
needed it should've been integrated into the question.  The idea CAN work,
but it's best with an icon indicating clarification is available if  and
only if you click it.

Red asterisk on every question.  Ugh.  Like Erin said, just tell me you're
demanding I answer everything.

And I agree that the distinctions that the author is trying to get to seem
vague and muddled.
