Description: For Rent Media Solutions is seeking an energetic
analyst/product developer to join the Product Development team in
Norfolk, Virginia. For Rent Media Solutions offers a combined
internet/print advertising solution for the multifamily property
management industry. As a team member you will be responsible for
meeting with business users and translating their requests into
business requirements. This information along with customer and
apartment seeker feedback, site analytics and competitive research
will help you develop product specifications. Your work will
contribute to the creation of a user experience that makes our web
site, ForRent.Com, a leader in the industry.

You may be an ideal candidate if you:

* Can conduct an effective interview and translate responses into requirements.

* Can study existing applications and documentation, and then add
clarity by defining core and detailed requirements for enhancements.

* Can tell the difference between "want to have" and "must have".

* Can turn interview notes and analysis into requirements, use case
models and detailed product specifications.

* Understand the difference between User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX)

* Can conduct usability studies and prototype tests, and then
translate the data into meaningful requirements and specifications.


You may qualify for this position if you:

* Demonstrate the following communication skills: aural, verbal,
written and reading comprehension.

* Exhibit excellent analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills.

* Can write high-level business requirements.

* Can translate business requirements into detailed product specifications.

* Possess a great eye for detail and consistency.

* Meticulously think through every aspect of a project.
