Giving him an idea of how much free space he needs could be helpful.
Somebody correct me, it would be nice to have 5 GB or more (3 GB for
/usr (programs), 1 GB for swap, 1 GB for home) but Mandrake can
probably be squeezed into 2 GB (total), maybe even less.
