Jeremy,
I'm using kernel 2.2.17-21mdk -- the one that came with Mandrake 7.2. I
posted what I'm running to the list a few days ago, (Sunday, the 25th)
under a subject: "[Lvlug] Services running on my Mandrake 7.2 system --
any suggestions on other stuff to disable?". (The other big them I'm
running is KDE 2.0.)
Let me know if you have any thoughts on why I'm using so much memory or
suggestions on other things I can disable. I think I'll buy some memory
at the computer show this weekend, but will I find that I just chew my
way through that and then the swap?
