Thanks for the suggestions.  I've downloaded and set up Inkscape and
I'll try Sketchup from Google.  I'm encouraged with regard to Inkscape
since it uses the layer approach I'm used to with Photoshop and GIMP.
My wife tells me that she has some limited experience with Sketchup so
I may have her seeing what she can do.  Thanks again!
