[Lvlug] my wireless nas project, sorta kinda underway

I mentioned, a while ago, that I wanted to build a little thingy to use to
provide a base of git operations at hackathons.  I figured a little netbook
would be ideal, but gave up because the cheapest I could find were $250.  I had
started to putter about getting FreeNAS onto a VMWare image, but it wasn't Just
Working.

Well, today's offer at woot.com was a Asus Eee 900 for $150.  Sweet!  I ordered
one and hope to have it in a week or so.  My goal is going to be to make it
something like a crappy github.com-in-a-box.  Is anybody else interested?  I
don't know if I'm the only git afficianado here.
