Lately (in the past few weeks), mutt has stopped recognizing new emails
in my email folders, but I didn't change anything.
I have fetchmail, well, fetching my emails, passing it off to procamil
which then puts the emails into /var/spool/mail/faber or in a folder in
~/Mail/. In my .muttrc, I tell mutt to 'set folder = $HOME/Mail' and set
several mailboxes.
As I said, this just stopped working and I can't figure out why.
I recently did a test where the only setting in ~/.muttrc was 'mailboxes
/home/faber/Mail/mutt-test' and had procmail deliver any email with
'mutt-test' in the subject to the file ~/Mail/mutt-test.
The emails are delivered. The timestamps (using ls -l --time=[ac]time)
look right. Everything is as it should be, except mutt isn't recognizing
new emails.
Any ideas?
