[Lvlug] Any Asterisk users or phone system installers in the Valley?

Long-time lurker, first-time poster (at least I *think* it's the first 
time...)!

We're looking to replace our aged phone system at our Bethlehem office. 
I'd like to go with an Asterisk-based system if possible (hoping for 
easier long-term upgrades, lower up-front costs, and good open source 
karma). I'm going to be running some tests with trixbox 2.2 this week to 
see how it is to install, configure, etc.

Anyone out there using Asterisk? Any particular things we should be 
thinking about?

And, anyone out there know anyone who's good with telephone system 
wiring? We have 7 analog lines coming in and dumping into our current 
phone system, via a punch-block, near as I can tell. I suck at wiring, 
so I'll be looking to contract with somebody who can help me run the 
analog lines into an Asterisk box and confirm everything's kosher.
