Freakin' sweet! That sounds like exactly the kind of thing I was
looking for. Now if I can throw something together for under $800,
I'll look like a hero. Thanks for your input. I may have more
questions for you in a day or two.

What kind of tape drive are you using, if I may ask? My old12/24 DAT
has seen better days.
