[Lvlug] Using a Linux filesystem (ext2, ext3) on a USB pendrive?

Thanks very much!  I finally got it done today after a few trials (in one case 
I did an fdisk on /dev/sda1 (instead of /dev/sda) and I got some strange 
feedback.  When I got back on track, I realized that I also had to change 
some lines in my /etc/fstab (like s/ext2/msdos/ in /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbhd msdos 
noauto,user,owner,rw 0 0).

I guess when I try a different pendrive (or anything else) that is formatted 
as msdos, I'll have to adjust that again.
