While not getting paid the big bucks, that's one reason to
engage in these do-it-youself tasks ... to try to keep nuances
like that fresh in the mind (the success of which is obvious).

Regarding iGoogle ... don't I recall a discussion here sometime
back about alternate search engines? Right about that time a
friend mentioned he'd switched to using dogpile.com. I did the
same.

Someone's still collecting your searches, but at least it's
spread around a bit. I don't know if I'd care to give Google
my stock portfolio (including the basis for each issue) info,
instead of just whipping something up that goes and collects the
prices, then does the remaining calcs locally.

Actually this is for mom's portfolio, so maybe I should use the
Google gadget ... they might think I'm wealthier than I really
am.
