[Lvlug] PCMCIA wireless networking for Fedora Core 5

Hello everybody!

I'm trying to put linux on a toshiba satellite laptop, and I guess I've
decided to use Fedora Core 5. I'm switching to Linux because I've never had
a windows install that worked, and i'm tired of all of that "your program
has crashed, notify microsoft?" stuff that goes along with that. Anyway, to
get onto my issue, after installing Fedora, I discovered that my Netgear
WG511T Wireless PC Card wasn't picked up by Linux. Is there any way that I
can get the wireless working?

Update before posting:
I've updated FC5 using a wired connection to my router, unfortunatly
I still could not get it to see my pcmcia card. To remedy the
problem, I've reinstalled ubuntu which 'just works', however I don't
think I want to continue using this distro for long. It seems to run
rather slowly on my hardware.

Thanks for any help you can offer, and I hope I didn't break the
mailing list by sending this out!

~Kyle
