That doesn't sound too far off the mark. I've found myself using irb in 
place of a traditional shell on occasion.

Smalltalk is just depressing to be around these days. I was hoping that 
Seaside would give it a shot in the arm, but after a brief stint of 
net.media exposure it's managed to disappear back into obscurity.

f---en sweet, indeed! But why not go all out and have it be waterproof 
when open, just in case you need to check your email while you're 
snorkeling (or in the rain)?
