Haven't caught Serenity yet, but if you like their earlier shorts then
Wallace and Gromit is worth the trip. Of course, we always hit the
matineé, so it's not like I spent $4000 or whatever normal movie
tickets cost now.
There's one point where I felt it started to drag a bit, and there's
an excess of exposition (i assume that's for people who aren't already
familiar with the characters), but overall it was very good. I was very
glad to see that they didn't go for the ultra-smooth style of Chicken
Run. You can still see little imperfections in the models, like
fingerprints in the clay and such.
The only other movie I've seen lately was Corpse Bride, but I've
geeked out about stop-motion animation enough for one day.

I'm curious to hear about Doom. Generally, movie -> videogame == sux,
and videogame -> movie == sux. There are precious few examples where
algebra fails us.
