I could look into it. I never really thought about it though. Usually,
when I split a window, one of them is a shell or occasionaly info. I'm
not a heavy splitter. In that case, I'll try at least 80x32 and see how
it works.

Another thing: I am really big on readablity. I use big fonts and light
text on a black background, or black text on a subdued background like
khaki in showrgb. Reduces the wear and tear on your eyes at the expense
of screen real-estate :D
