[Lvlug] soekris still the best choice?

I want to replace my "old PC" gateway with a low power device.   
Slashdot was just reiterating that the WRT54G is a great solution,  
but won't I be giving up...  I dunno...  something?

I guess my priorities are:
1.  Low power device
2.  Good firewall
3.  Option to do things like VPN if I ever want to

Opinions?

On a related topic, I'd like to set up a low power fileserver.
