I'm with Chris there, you don't have much of a choice. If I want to
replace a cdrom drive on a MAC it's gonna cost me over $100 dollars.
They won't sell me a cdrom drive. I either have to buy second hand off
of ebay or take it in to an Apple Service center. And for what? Some

With Apple's "lower end pricing" this is not necessarily the case that
only the "wealthier" class will be buying a mac. For about the same
price as a low-midranged pc you can get an iMac.
There are even some iBooks starting at under $1,000. So Apple is not
necessarily the system of the rich.
