Check out this:

perl -wlne'/^(\S+)/;$h{$1}++}{print"$h{$_}\t$_"for \
sort{$h{$a}<=>$h{$b}}keys%h' access.log

displays the average number of website hits per IP (from
http://www.linuxgazette.com/issue90/okopnik.html).

I've seen far more obscure things fom this fellow!

food and beer, I can probably get him to do it.

Are y'all interested? I know I am.
