Make any progress on this?

On of our OPS guys has been working on putting up some
permutation of the ms "server system" that includes sql server.
While not directly involved, I know he hasn't been enjoying
it much. He's been doing the purchasing on it too, so he's
got a good understanding of what it's costing to achieve the
desired level of availability for our particular app/sql combo.

I'd be glad to arrange some email or phone brain picking.
