[Lvlug] Interesting Idea for File Manager

I thought about this for a while. The idea of a rogue-like game (at
least with no one else to work with) is definitely beyond my reach. But
I noted something. File managers let you deal with a directory, unless
they are in the neat-o 'Commander' format, like mc, or git, or
vimcommander.vim, in which case there are two. Directories, or menus,
are both for logical organization, but wouldn't it be cool if there was
a file manager that dealt with the filing system in such a way that
logical organization beyond directories could occur? A number of files
would be introduced into a 'pane' (or whatever) via the output of a
command. For the traditional paradigm, this would just be ls. But I
could also work with a number of related files, possibly in different
directories, by using a command like: find . -exec grep -q
"www.athabasca" '{}' \; -print

Might the idea be worth it??
