My web browsing needs are generally minimal. Look at my own Linux Link
webspace. For me, Firefox is a huge step forward. But quality is
relative, remember, to a number of things. I'm sure if you took a
bullcrapmeter, put one lead on IE and the other on Firefox, the damn
thing would peg.
