   They also sell PC's with no OS and, in the past, have sold them with 
Mandrake and Suse installed.

   As far as broadening Linux, it's hard to say what effect Wal-Mart 
would have. I don't see a Wal-Mart salesperson convincing someone to try 
Lindows. But, maybe those curious about Linux might try a low-cost PC 
with Linux already installed and not need any convincing from a sales 
clerk.
