Instead of the regular analog connector to the monitor,
it uses the DVI output of the video card to connect
with a digital signal to the monitor.  There is a
noticeable improvement in the clarity of the images
especially the sharpness of text, as compared to using
the analog connection. Nvidia had instructions on it's
web site for using the DVI connection. you need to add
the option "connected monitor" = DFP line. If anyone is
interested in using an LCD monitor ,especially for long
stints of text work, I recommend a digital connection.
