Keep on posting, the list has been too quite the past month.

Thank you, it was.

The boss received the box very well. The web page teacher remained
skeptical. The performance was on target, but there was one major issue,
and this is had nothing to do with the server. When the web was uploaded to
the server, there were issues with the links. Frontpage coded the image and
local hyperlinks with the full unc path from the server they were originally
located on. Being a novell server, the path would look like this:

     \\slweb\vol1\novonyx\suitespot\docs\images\happyface.gif

Moving to the new server broke these links. Now there is a global search
and replace feature that can change the links. The problem with the feature
is that it requires a manual confirmation before the change is made. When
you are talking hundreds of links, this becomes a real pain. It took about
an hour to make these changes.

Needless to say, the web page teacher was not pleased with this task.
Especially when I told her if we elect to move the web to another server,
this will have to be done again.

So, before taking the final plunge, the we are turning off Front Page Server
extension support in FP2000. The teacher believes they are not using any of
the server extension feature anyway.

We'll see what happens. At least I got to build another server for the fun
of it and try out rarely used technology.
